This 4 bedroom, + loft, 3 bathroom log chalet is spacious yet warm and cosy.
Ski in and out so you get to the slopes quickly to experience the amazing powder conditions, then just as quickly back to soak in the new hot tub, relax in the sauna and then drinks in front of the unique-off-the-floor wood fireplace. From the moment you walk in the soaring ceiling and grandeur of the full log construction gives the experience of a true log chalet.
The main floor great room has an open concept so that dining, relaxing and cooking are ideal for entertaining and socializing. A wood burning fireplace in the living area provides ambiance and warmth to gather around. Additional warmth is provided by in floor heating. Off the kitchen area is a large covered deck with a BBQ big enough for all your cooking needs.
The upper loft floor has a spacious bedroom with a king-size sleigh bed, pull out sofa and views of the Rocky Mountains. The ensuite bathroom has both a shower and a large jacuzzi tub. Also on the loft floor a queen size bed sofa offers additional sleeping space. There is an office space or kid's craft area space on this loft floor. The main floor bedroom is bright and comfortable with a queen-size bed and over-size ottoman for sitting or reading. Across the hall is a full bathroom with shower and heated floors.
The lower ground level has a living space with gas fireplace, satellite flat-screen TV. A double-size pull-out sofa here can accommodate more guests. The 6 person hot tub is located just outside this space. It's location beside the house and under the back deck gets you in and out of the time with minimal exposure so in the winter it is not one of those breath-taking moments. It is also has privacy but still has a view out the back. The adjacent bedroom is spacious with a king-size bed, sitting area and ensuite bathroom with double sinks, shower/bathtub combo and dual door access. Heated flooring and a heated bench-seat by the bath/shower are a decadent touch. A fourth room has 2 twin-size beds a cosy space for two people.
For those that prefer dry heat to soothe the body after a days skiing a 6 person sauna is located just off this main living space. The boot room off the garage has ample space to hang your outdoor clothing and is equipped with a washer and dryer.
Parking is available right in front of the house for 4 cars, one in the garage.
